From October 15 to November 30th, the EducationUSA Advising Center will host its first-ever six-week long Expo for U.S. creative and performing arts programs. The Expo will feature accredited academic degree and non-degree creative and performing arts programs from U.S. boarding schools, and colleges and universities including fine arts, design, film, graphic design, architecture, theater, music, photography, electronic gaming and dance.

To learn more about studying art and design, and performing arts in the U.S. and choosing the right program for you, come to our information seminar at our EducationUSA Advising Center on Saturday October 17 or November 14!

Walnut Hill School for the Arts is an independent secondary boarding and day school which offers students a distinctive education featuring intensive arts training, a rigorous academic program, and a community dedicated to supporting the development of young artists. Walnut Hill offers programs for students in grades 9 - postgraduate, for study in ballet, music, theater, visual art, and writing & publishing, as well as a variety of summer arts programs. Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees

The B.F.A. degree requires completion of 126 credit hour: 84 in studio areas adn 42 in general studies courses. In addition to coursework in their chosen major, first-year students will take courses in the Foundation Department, where they will study drawing, color theory, and basic design. Students in all majors will also take courses in the Liberal Arts Department, designed to provide them with an understanding of the larger social and cultural context in which they live.
